Optimist Chiefs blanked by Lethbridge in Mac's Tournament quarterfinals

CALGARY- The Red Deer Optimist Chiefs were shutout 3-0 by the Lethbridge Midget AAA Hurricanes in quarterfinals action Monday morning at the Mac's Tournament in Calgary. 

Lethbridge led 1-0 through 40 minutes on a first period goal by Dylan Nevil. The Hurricanes added third period power play goals from Tayler Miller and Griffen Fraser to clinch the win. 

Calgary Hitmen prospect Brayden Peters made 27 saves for the shutout.
