Building permit values continue to exceed 2017 numbers

RED DEER- Total year-to-date building permit values remain higher than those in 2017, however values for November were less than those in November 2017.

November 2018 building permit values were $23 million compared to $34 million in the same month in 2017.

Year-to-date building permits have reached a total value of $222 million so far this year, compared to $148 million by this time in 2017.

Notable permits for November include: A $6.7 million project for a new 3,000 square-metre building in Queensland Industrial park, a $6.5 million enhancement at the Olymel facility, and a new $6.1 million temporary care facility at 47 Michener Bend.
