Shots fired at O’Chiese First Nation

O’CHIESE FIRST NATION- Rocky Mountain House RCMP are investigating after shots were fired at a residence on the O’Chiese First Nation.

The incident happened at around 9 a.m. Monday. It was determined a high-powered firearm was used to shoot at the residence.

After the shots were fired, police say a vehicle was heard departing the area at a high rate of speed. The lone occupant inside the home was not hurt and did not see the vehicle flee the scene.
