UCP nomination voting for Drayton Valley-Devon occurring this week

United Conservative Party members for the Drayton Valley-Devon constituency vote this week to choose who they want to represent the riding come the 2019 provincial election.

Incumbent MLA Mark Smith is on the ballot against Andrew Boitchenko.

Both candidates have ticked off rural crime as an issue they have heard over and over again on the campaign trail, as well as worries over the economy.

Voting in Drayton Valley Tuesday will occur at Masonic Hall on 5602 55 Street from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On Wednesday voting will take place in Devon at Braun Hall on Community Centre, 20 Haven Avenue from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
