RCMP Major Crimes investigating death of a toddler

CARDSTON- The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death of a two-year-old girl in southern Alberta.

The girl was found in medical distress on August 2 in the Cardston area and police were called after she was taken to hospital.

She died on Monday of her injuries.

An autopsy was completed at the Calgary Medical Examiner’s office on Tuesday.

The RCMP is working with several agencies as the investigation continues.
