Broderson wins Olds Junior Open

Chase Broderson of Lacombe has won the Olds Junior Open.

Thursday’s tournament was the latest stop on the McLennan Ross Junior Golf Tour.

Broderson claimed his first ever tour title by shooting a one-over 73 to finish three shots clear of Red Deer Golf and Country Club members Cole Bergheim and Logan Graf.

Sydney McInnis of Olds shot 91 to capture the girls’ flight.

The next stop on the McLennan Ross tour is July 16 in Drayton Valley.
