Riggers crush Cubs to take over first place

The Red Deer Riggers cruised to an 11-1 win over the Edmonton Confederation Cubs Tuesday night at Great Chief Park to take over first place in the Sunburst Baseball League.
Stalwart Davin Gulbranson pitched five solid innings to earn the win.
Jaret Chatwood sparked the Riggers offence with a two-run home run.
The Riggers (4-1) are off until Tuesday, June 19. when they host Sherwood Park at Great Chief Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
