Alberta sheriff injured in gun range accident

EDMONTON- An Alberta sheriff’s officer is recovering after a shooting accident at a police gun range in Edmonton.
The accident happened yesterday morning as a group of sheriffs was involved in training that had been booked at the facility.
Police say the officer was injured when she discharged her firearm, but her wound is not considered life-threatening.
No one else was hurt.
