Rocky Mountain House RCMP seize drugs from long weekend

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE- A Red Deer man is facing Criminal Code charges after Rocky RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle during their off highway patrols over the May long weekend.

At approximately 12:15 p.m. on May 20, Mounties checked a vehicle that was located on a lease road.

Officers discovered open liquor, and upon a further search found approximately 3 grams of cocaine.

Lucas Denny, 23, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and was also found to be breaching parole conditions.

He is scheduled to appear in Rocky Mountain House Provincial Court on May 30.
