Grad season begins around central Alberta

High school graduation season is underway in central Alberta.

On Friday, approximately 317 grade 12 students at Hunting Hills in Red Deer received their driplomas during a ceremony and banquet at Westerner Park.

Another 350 grads at Lindsay Thurber will celebrate this Friday, May 25.

H.J. Cody grads in Sylvan Lake will walk across the stage on June 8 with about 147 graduates.

At Lacombe Composite, around 268 students will graduate on June 29.

Both Notre Dame and St. Joseph high schools will hold their festivities on June 30. Notre Dame has 499 graduating students, while there are 108 in the inaugural grad class at St. Joseph.
