Three people have been charged and are working to identify a fourth after a home invasion last month in Rimbey.

In the early morning of April 13, RCMP say two males were woken in a residence when four suspects entered and assaulted them, resulting in minor injuries.

Rimbey RCMP with the assistance of Red Deer Forensic Identification Section responded to investigate and identified three of the four suspects. Police believe it was a targeted attack and that there was no risk to the public during or after the incident.

Tyson Richard Ethier, 24, of Sylvan Lake was charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats and two counts of fail to comply with a probation order.  He was arrested in Red Deer on April 30 and remains in custody ahead of his next court appearance on May 4.

32-year-old Samantha Leone Lewis of Ponoka is charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats and fail to comply with a probation order.  She was arrested on April 17 in Rocky Mountain House and was released to appear in Rimbey court on June 1.

Jimmy Delane Morsette, 30, of Blackfalds is charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats.  He has not been located by the RCMP and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.  Morsette (pictured above) is described at 5’8” tall and 216 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes and may be sporting a goatee.

RCMP are seeking information about the identity of the fourth male suspect.
