Career / Job Fair at RDC next week

Local job seekers and those looking to upgrade their education are being encouraged to attend a Career / Job Fair and Alberta Global Talent Employer forum next week.

The event hosted by RDC, Alberta Government Ministry of Labour and Alberta Talent  will take place on Wednesday, March 21 from Noon until 6:00 p.m. at the Cenovus Energy Learning Common on campus.

Officials say some of the employers in attendance will be from 2019 Canada Winter Games, Scotiabank, Sun Life Financial, Association of Alberta Agricultural Fieldmen, Service Canada, David Thompson Resort, Eagle Well Services, Penske Truck Leasing, Bethany Care Society, Paladin Security Group, Central Alberta Co-op, Edward Jones, Costco, CBI Home Health and Canadian Forces.

For employers, the Alberta Global Talent Employer Forum runs on Wednesday, March 21 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at the JB Quinn Centre for Corporate Training at RDC. Hosted by Alberta Global Talent, RDC, Ministry of Labour, Government of Alberta.

Officials say this morning event will feature stories from Canadian immigrants, a panel discussion about strengthening your high performance workforce, a variety of breakout sessions including a discussion on attracting and retaining an immigrant workforce, as well as keynote speaker Tina Varughese.
