Snow removal efforts continue in Sylvan Lake

Recent snowfalls have triggered snow removal operations in the Town of Sylvan Lake.

Town officials say arterial route maintenance began February 5 and included 50 Street, 60 Street, Memorial Trail, 50 Avenue and Lakeshore Drive.

These efforts continue February 6 with the downtown area, part of 47 Avenue, 47A Avenue and a portion of 45 Avenue.

Town officials say Public Works crews intend on clearing all paved public roads between February 12 and 23 subject to variations from additional snowfalls.

Residents are reminded to watch for ‘No Parking’ signs which will be placed 24-72 hours in advance of snow removal operations.
