Red Deer Christmas Bureau now distributing winter gear donated through Coats 4 Kids campaign

Local families in need hoping to grab some winter gear before cooler temperatures arrive, now have the opportunity to do so through the 65th annual Coats 4 Kids campaign.

Put on by the Red Deer Christmas Bureau Society, the campaign began distributing the donated winter gear on Oct. 19 and will continue through Oct. 23 this week. The gear can be picked up at the Bureau, located at 4630-61 Street.

They’ll also hand out the items from Monday, Oct. 26 to Saturday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Some of the winter items that were donated are coats, mitts, gloves, toques, scarves, and ski pants.
