Two SUVs and bicycle crash in Red Deer

Red Deer RCMP are reminding the public, including motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, to take due care on the roads.

The detachment says members responded to a crash between two SUVs and a bike just before 6 a.m. on Sept. 2 at Riverside Drive and 77 St. — near the city’s civic yards.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Occupants of both vehicles sustained no injuries.

“The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation. No charges have been laid at this time,” they say.
