Stettler to host ‘Skills Day’ in October

Students in the Stettler area are invited to take part in an upcoming ‘Skills Day’ event, Oct. 14.

The day is intended for students interested in health care career opportunities, and is hosted by the Stettler Regional Board of Trade and the Stettler Health Professionals Attraction & Retention (HPA&R) Committee initiative.

Only 40 spaces are available, officials share.

“Our local nurses, physicians, laboratory and diagnostic imaging professionals, paramedics, firefighters and other health care workers play an important role in making this event possible, by volunteering their time and sharing their experiences and skills with students,” the County of Stettler notes in a release.
