Central Alberta Humane Society’s Pancakes for Paws fundraiser returns Aug. 22

The Central Alberta Humane Society announced its Pancakes for Paws fundraiser is set for later this month.

On Saturday, Aug. 22, from 8 to 11 a.m., citizens are invited to give back to support the work of the Central Alberta Humane Society.

The fundraiser, which will be held at the shelter located at 4505 77 Street in Red Deer, is by donation with a minimum cost of $5 per plate to help support the animals in their care.

Those in attendance will be able to take a tour of the shelter and get a behind-the-scenes look. There will also be a kids play zone for the little ones, and special guests Paws in the City will be in attendance to sell their dog treats.
