Investigation into youths on electric dirt bikes evading police in Lacombe leads to three arrests
The Lacombe Police Service have arrested three people regarding an investigation into youths on electric dirt bikes repeatedly evading police.
The arrests took place on Monday, Aug. 3 at 9:30 p.m., when they charged two male youths and issued Traffic Safety Act Violation tickets. They also charged an adult female with obstruction of a peace officer and willfully resisting arrest after interfering with police during the investigation.
The investigation, which has been ongoing since June 2026, included numerous incidents involving a male youth and his associates who failed to stop for police consistently while driving electric dirt bikes on public roads.
Police discovered the youth recorded these incidents and shared the videos on social media platforms.
