Town of Stettler receives $3.26 million to rehabilitate wastewater lift stations
The Town of Stettler has been awarded $3.26 million through the Alberta Municipal Water/Wastewater Partnership program.
The town says the funds will be used to support the rehabilitation of its two wastewater lift stations.
More specifically, it will allow the municipality to fund upgrades and expansions to the stations, ensuring Stettler’s wastewater system remains well-positioned to serve the community for years and decades.
“On behalf of town council and our community, I want to sincerely thank the Government of Alberta for recognizing the importance of this project and partnering with us to make it happen,” said Stettler Mayor Gord Lawlor. “This investment will improve reliability, reduce long-term maintenance costs, and ensure our infrastructure is ready to support expanding residential and business opportunities in the future. It’s another important step in building a strong, sustainable future for Stettler.”
