Trial date set for man charged in organized auto theft and re-vinning operation in central Alberta
A trial date has been set for one of six people charged following a year-long investigation into an alleged organized auto theft and re-vinning operation in central Alberta.
Joseph Chlala, 25, of Calgary, is scheduled for a jury trial in Edmonton Court of King’s Bench on Feb. 1, 2027.
Co-accused, Quinn Richard Olson, 50, of Red Deer, has his matter’s return to Calgary Court of King’s Bench on July 15, 2026.
Olson is currently charged with attempted murder, discharging firearm with intent, and causing bodily harm by criminal negligence.
