Flood watch in effect for two areas of Red Deer River basin

A flood watch is in place for two areas of the Red Deer River Basin.
The two areas are:
- Red Deer River near Sundre (new, as of Monday) – Water level rises of up to 1.5 to 2.0 m are possible, corresponding to possible peak flows of between 300 to 500 m3/s; Peak water levels are forecast for the afternoon of June 29; Riverside RV and Greenwood Campground could be impacted at these flows.
- Little Red Deer River Basin (new, as of Monday) – Water level rises of up to 1.3 to 2.0 m are possible, corresponding to possible peak flows of between 70 to 170 m3/s; Peak water levels are forecast for the morning of June 29 at Water Valley and the afternoon of June 30 at the Mouth; Water Valley Provincial Park and Red Lodge Provincial Park would be impacted at these flows.
