Red Deer and District 4-H beef show is back for 2026
The Red Deer and District 4-H beef club will be holding its annual beef show and sale May 31 and June 1.
Four 4-H clubs will take part — Red Deer East, Bow-Inn, Red Deer West and Delburne — with members showing off their steers and heifers ready to be sold.
Organizer Chloe Bellerive says it’s been a good year for local 4-H clubs.
“I’m really excited for this year,” she says. “Of course, beef prices are really high this year, hopefully members will get some good money after selling their steers.”

Sunday, May 31 is the 4-H club show, while June 1 is the inter-club show with steer sales beginning at 7 p.m.
A dinner will be served June 1 at 5 p.m.
The public is invited to watch the show throughout both days at the AgriCentre West building at Westerner Park.
