Sylvan Lake RCMP are seeking assistance from the public, specifically possible witnesses to an assault that took place May 23.
Mounties say that on May 23, around 10:30 p.m., members responded to assist EMS with an assault victim who was left on the sidewalk along 50 Avenue near the Royal Canadian Legion (between 50 Street and 48 Street).
According to EMS, the victim suffered significant injuries.
Though no one is believed to have witnessed the incident, there were several individuals, as well as a large group of teenagers, in the area at the time the assault allegedly occurred.
