Maskwacis RCMP searching for prolific offender who may be armed
Maskwacis RCMP have charged two men after they allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint over the long weekend.
Police say on Sunday, May 17, at approximately 1 p.m., two suspects allegedly robbed a man of his liquor while manipulating a rifle in Montana First Nation.
The man had gotten away unharmed, but the suspects from Maskwacis, who police say were known to each other, fled the scene in a blue SUV.
Melvin Myles Cattleman, 38, has since been arrested and charged, but Jesse Lee Roasting, 36, has not yet been arrested.
