Sutter Fund Chiefs remain undefeated at Esso Cup

The U18 AAA Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs remain undefeated following the third day of the 2026 Esso Cup.

The Chiefs recorded their second straight shutout with a 4-0 victory over the Winnipeg Ice on Tuesday in Dieppe, New Brunswick.

Red Deer’s Talia Switzer, Olivia Stewart, and Jensyn Stephenson (two goals) all scored for the Chiefs to improve to 3-0 in the tournament.

Meanwhile, goaltender Brylee Hull made 29 saves to earn her first shutout of the U18 Women’s National Club Championship tournament. This comes less than 24 hours after goaltender Quinn Smith also achieved a shutout for the Chiefs.
