Air Spray training around Red Deer Regional Airport
Red Deer Regional Airport says one of its local partners, Air Spray, has begun to conduct spring training.
That’s why you may have seen this past weekend, and may continue to see, different aircraft circling the sky around Springbrook.
“Red Deer Regional Airport would like to inform the community that Air Spray, a valued tenant and global leader in aerial wildfire suppression, has now begun training operations at the airport for the 2026 season,” they say.
“With over 70 years of experience and a specialized firefighting fleet, Air Spray plays an important role in protecting communities and natural resources. Residents may notice increased aircraft activity as training gets underway.”
