Outdoor rink at Ponoka Arena Complex now closed

The Town of Ponoka announced that the outdoor rink at the Ponoka Arena Complex is now closed for the season.

The decision comes with spring around the corner and the arrival of warmer temperatures.

“Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed skating on the Town of Ponoka’s Outdoor Rink,” the town wrote in a media release.

Meanwhile, indoor skating is still available at the Ponoka Arena Complex for a bit longer, where the public can enjoy public skating and shinny hockey. These activities will continue until Sunday, March 22.
