Innisfail resident wins $100K on lottery ticket

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation announced an Innisfail resident won $100,000 on Extra.

According to a media release, Robert S. checked his ticket on the Lotto Spot app on January 2 and couldn’t believe what he saw.

“I checked it a second time,” he admitted. “At first I thought I’d seen wrong.”

Robert said now that the initial shock has passed, he’s taking his winnings straight to the bank.

“I’m happy,” he added.
