Change of date for First Thursday Concert in March

Live streaming of First Thursday concerts

If you are unable to attend the concert in person, the concert will be streamed live on our YouTube channel and at rdpl.org/first-thursday. Click on the YouTube channel in the previous sentence and you will be directed to the site.

Donations Thanks to those who have made donations in support of the First Thursday concerts. These funds have been used to pay fees and expenses for the musicians presenting at the Library. If anyone wishes to support these concerts, cheques should be made out to the Red Deer Public Library, with a memo for CONCERTS. A charitable receipt will be issued.

VOLUNTEERING FOR THE RED DEER FESTIVAL OF THE PERFORMING ARTS

The Red Deer Festival of the Performing Arts (formerly the Kiwanis Festival) is asking for volunteers for the 2026 Festival. Sessions involve musicians performing their selections and adjudicators giving them feedback.

Dates:

April 14-16 at the Arts Center, Red Deer Polytechnic (Bands, Musical Theatre, Piano)

April 27 – May 1 at Sunnybrook United Church (Voice, Speech Arts and Strings)
