Don Campbell to host open house for Kindergarten Academy of Discovery

Families are invited to learn more about the opportunities available at the Kindergarten Academy of Discovery during an upcoming open house, which will take place Wednesday, March 4 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Don Campbell Elementary School.

Officials at Red Deer Public Schools say the Academy offers families full day, every school day English Kindergarten programming, with partial costs covered by families.

Led by a Certified Teacher and an Educational Assistant, officials describe the Kindergarten Academy of Discovery as an exciting program at Don Campbell Elementary that combines hands-on learning with imaginative play and exploration. By focusing on both academic and social-emotional development, the program aims to help young learners build a strong foundation for success in school and beyond.

Officials say the open house offers a chance for families to learn more about the program which is designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in young students. Attendees will meet the staff who bring the program to life, explore the classroom, and gain insight into the program’s engaging curriculum and unique approach to early childhood education.
