Stettler doctors group shares new availability

Five new doctors in Stettler are accepting new patients, according to the local Health Professionals Attraction and Retention Committee (HPA&R).

The new doctors include:

• Dr. Ude – Stettler Medical Clinic 403-742-3441

• Dr. Lawal – Stettler Medical Clinic 403-742-3441

• Dr. Kankam-Yeboah – Heartland Medical Clinic 403-742-4011

“Access to family physicians is a key factor in making communities attractive places to live, work, and raise families. Strengthening local medical services supports community growth and helps meet the needs of current and future residents, businesses, and employers,” the HPA&R notes in a release.

“The HPA&R Committee would like to extend its sincere thanks to our community partners and Alberta Health Services (AHS) for their support in successfully attracting five new family doctors to Stettler.”

Their dedication and collaboration, the committee adds, have made it possible to strengthen healthcare access for area residents.
