Town of Ponoka inviting the public to sponsor Christmas tree in annual holiday light display

The Town of Ponoka is inviting organizations and individuals to sponsor a Christmas tree at the town’s annual Christmas light display at Lions Centennial Park.

They’re asking those interested to sponsor $1,500, which will earn you or your organization a sign of recognition in front of a decorated Christmas tree throughout the duration of the light display.

To become a sponsor, contact the Town of Ponoka at 403-913-4574 or email jennifer.brown@ponoka.ca before Wednesday, December 10.

They’d also like to thank the Ponoka Lions Club for their $5,000 donation to support the light display.

The Christmas Light display is already under construction, which will feature over 500,000 Christmas lights at Lions Park this week and will run until the end of February.
