The City of Red Deer has announced that work is expected to begin Monday to install street lighting on 30 Avenue north of 67 Street.
As a result, authorities say motorists can expect traffic impacts as crews begin the work that is expected to be completed by mid to late-November.
Some of the traffic impacts include intermittent lane delays. In addition, the back alley behind southwest Emmett Drive will also be closed to through traffic for a small duration of the project.
Drivers are advised to obey all signs and the city added that the schedule for the work is subject to change.
