Central Alberta Chamber Orchestra set to open 4th season

The Central Alberta Chamber Orchestra is set to present its two-concert fourth season opening series for 2025-26 — called Classically Yours.

The first show goes Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church in Lacombe.

Show two goes Sunday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. at Gaetz Memorial United Church in Red Deer.

Tickets are available at eventbrite.ca or at the door for both performances.

Prices are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors 65+, $10 for students 13+, and children 12 and under get in free.

The concerts will feature flautist Val Sherman and clarinetist Joyce Howdle performing Saint-Saëns’ ‘Tarantelle’ on flute, clarinet, and orchestra.

There will be a beautiful variety of chamber music with something for everyone, they say.
