RCMP identify suspect in Three Hills break and enter, warrant out for arrest

RCMP say they’ve identified the suspect in an alleged break and enter in Three Hills in August.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of James Wardrop, 56, of London, Ontario, police say.

On Aug. 11, Mounties shared that it was on Aug. 8, between the hours of 4:30 and 6:20 p.m., when it’s believed a suspect broke into a local home and stole various items.

The suspect had attended the home prior to the break and enter, speaking with the homeowner, and telling him he could repair the homeowner’s trailer for $300.

The suspect later returned when the homeowner was gone, and allegedly committed the offence.

Police believe the suspect attended other residences in Three Hills and spoke with homeowners/tenants.

Wardrop is described as:

  • Approximately 50-years-old
  • White, short hair
  • He was wearing a grey sweater, red shirt and blue jeans
  • He was driving a newer model Ford F150
