City of Red Deer to begin demolishing a house on Spruce Drive next week, trail closures expected

Crews will begin demolishing a house at 3730 Spruce Drive on Aug. 11 and is expected to take approximately four weeks.
The City of Red Deer says during that time, the overflow parking area for Rotary Park will be closed and there will be intermittent trail closures to allow equipment to safely access the site.
However, signs will be in place to let everyone know in the area of the closures when they’re in place.
“We understand construction can be disruptive and appreciate your patience as we complete this important work,” the city says.
