Late night Red Deer power outage Tuesday impacted customers, traffic lights

The City of Red Deer reported a power outage Tuesday night that lasted half an hour and impacted 2,100 customers.
Beginning on May 27 at 10:30 p.m. customers in parts of Clearview Ridge, Timberlands, Garden Heights, Riverside Industrial and Riverside Meadows were impacted.
In addition, all traffic lights along 67 Street between Gaetz and 30 Avenue were also affected.
The city says crews were able to reset the lights and have them back on at 11:40 p.m. but before that was resolved, emergency crews responded to help with traffic at 67 Street and Carlton. There were no incidents reported.
