Paul Salvatore is the new executive director at Central Alberta Economic Partnership (CAEP).

Officials with CAEP, which is a regional alliance supporting business growth and helping to attract investment, notes Salvatore has 20 years of experience in economic development and public-private partnerships (P3).

“I’m honoured to join CAEP at such a dynamic time,” said Salvatore.

“Central Alberta is uniquely positioned for growth with strong foundations in energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation. I look forward to engaging with municipal, industry, and Indigenous partners to create sustainable opportunities for our communities.”

Among other things, Salvatore’s past work includes projects for Regional Economic Development Alliances and municipalities such as Penhold, Lacombe County, Drumheller, and Calgary Economic Development.

“Paul’s experience and collaborative leadership make him the right person to lead CAEP forward,” said Jean Barclay, Chair of CAEP’s Board of Directors. “His approach aligns perfectly with our mission to position Central Alberta as a leader in economic growth.”

Upcoming CAEP Projects Include:

Community Profiles: In partnership with McSweeney & Associates, developing comprehensive profiles to support investment readiness.

Site Link Conference: Hosting international site selectors in Central Alberta from September 3–5 with Global Webster.
