Red Deer’s French learners to get a closer look at life opportunities during upcoming forum
jourMany Red Deer students in grades 8-12 will get a special experience later this month when Francais Pour L’avenir (French for the Future) hosts its Future Local Forum at Living Stones Church.
The event, taking place March 27, gives students a look at educational, career and travel opportunities that await them should they continue in French.
Interactive workshops also allow students the chance to use French outside the classroom.
“The forum is a celebration of French culture that allows French-as-a-second-language students from different school boards to build relationships in a positive environment,” explains Emeline Leurent, French for the Future’s Executive Director.
