Three Hills bank fraud suspect identified

Three Hills RCMP report that as of Feb. 19, they have identified a suspect allegedly connected to a fraud incident that occurred on Dec. 10, 2024.

That day, RCMP report that a suspect entered an ATB in Three Hills and attempted to deposit a cheque using a fake driver’s license with an account holder’s name.

The bank teller recognized that the license likely wasn’t authentic and prevented any release of funds.

RCMP thank the public for their assistance in the matter.
