Charges pending in connection to fatal stabbing in north Red Deer

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating a fatal stabbing in Red Deer.

RCMP were called at 5:42 p.m. on Nov. 20 to a report of a stabbing in an industrial area on 79 Street in Red Deer, near 48 Avenue.

This is near the boundary between Northlands Industrial Park and Riverside Heavy Industrial Park.

Upon arrival, RCMP and EMS located a deceased victim.

Members then located and arrested a suspect nearby, and the Major Crimes Unit was deployed.
