Olds Grizzlys announce player moves
With the 2024-25 season just around the corner, the Olds Grizzlys have been making moves to recruit more experience to the team.
Two new forwards will be joining the team: Will Robinson (Toronto), a 20-year-old RW/C acquired from the Hearst Lumberjacks of the NOJHL and Bailey Shortall, an 18-year-old acquired from the Truro Bearcats of the MJAHL. Both players were acquired for future considerations.
Robinson accumulated 9 points through 24 contests (5G, 4A) last season, while the Nova Scotia born Shortall gathered 23 points in 34 games with the West Kent Steamers.
Another new addition is Ashton Sadauskas, a 20-year-old Parksville, B.C. born goaltender from the Kam River Fighting Walleye of the SIJHL. He posted a 2.42 GAA and a 0.909 SV per cent with a record of 28-3-0 and 4 shutouts through last season’s 32 games.
