County officials say the winners of this esteemed award will be announced at the 2024 Chamber Gala in October.

“The Farm Family Award provides a unique opportunity to honour the invaluable contributions made by ranch and farm families in Lacombe County,” said Reeve Barb Shepherd. “Their dedication and innovation continue to drive the agricultural sector forward, thus ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. We are excited to celebrate their accomplishments.”

The Farm Family of the Year Award acknowledges excellence in technical farm production and sustainability practices, family farm business management, agricultural industry involvement, and community and rural citizenship.
