Sea Cadets celebrated in Annual Ceremonial Review
The 126 Red Deer, Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps will be finishing off their season and celebrating the end of the training year in their Annual Ceremonial Review.
On June 15 at 10 a.m., cadets will finish off the season with a formal parade and awards ceremony. There will be refreshments following the parade.
The event takes place at the Cormack Armoury. Guests are asked to be seated by 9:45 a.m. and dress in their designated environmental uniform and awarded medals, if applicable, or business attire.
The cadet program runs from September to June each year with weekly parade nights where sea cadets learn naval traditions, nautical skills, sailing, how to perform drill, and are taught citizenship and leadership. The program is open to youth aged 12-19 and is completely free.
