Four ‘prolific offenders’ arrested, charged after incident in Evansburg area
Evansburg RCMP have charged multiple people whom they describe as “prolific offenders” following an incident May 10 that has connections to several jurisdictions, including Red Deer.
It just was after midnight, police say, when Mounties received a complaint about suspicious vehicles in Parkland County, along Highway 627.
Police attended the area, located two suspicious trucks and attempted a traffic stop. The trucks, police say, ignored them, attempted to flee, and in the process rammed one police vehicle.
With assistance from Edmonton Air Services, and RCMP in Mayerthorpe and Drayton Valley, members pursued both vehicles. Ultimately, three males and one female were arrested.
