Pair arrested after RCMP recover 21 allegedly stolen vehicles
Red Deer RCMP have arrested two people after executing a search warrant at a property in Clearwater County.
On April 10, as part of ongoing property crime investigations within the city of Red Deer, Red Deer’s Crime Reduction Team, with assistance of the Emergency Response Team, Central Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit, Auto Theft South, and Rocky Mountain House detachment, executed the warrant.
As a result, officers recovered 21 allegedly stolen vehicles, including motorcycles, dirt bikes, trailers, SUVs and a boat, along with 10 firearms.
“All of us are proud to see the experience and expertise of general duty and specialized RCMP units coordinate to produce these results,” says acting Red Deer RCMP commander, Insp. Heidi Ravenhill.
