Fake 911 call to High Level RCMP leads to four arrests, including Red Deer resident

High Level RCMP have arrested multiple suspects after receiving a “fraudulent 911 call” about a shooting in the town.

Mounties were out conducting proactive patrols on March 9, in hopes of locating a suspect wanted on multiple warrants, and “attended a residence known to police.”

While at the home, officers noticed a suspect out on conditions, who was court-ordered to stay away from the residence, inside.

A few minutes later, High Level RCMP received a call about a shooting in the town, which was determined to be false, and came from the inside of the suspected residence.

A search warrant was then obtained and the home was searched. Police seized several illegal items:

  • 363 grams of psilocybin
  • 183 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 60.85 grams of suspected methamphetamine;
  • 3.05 grams of a “porous chunk of suspected drugs”
  • 76 tablets of “suspected drugs”
  • Ammunition
  • Drug trafficking paraphernalia; baggies, scales and cell phones

As a result of the investigation and search, four individuals were arrested:

  • 33-year-old Bushe River resident Tyson Lance Konda-Martel was arrested and had six charges laid against him;

Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Possession of ammunition while prohibited.

Three counts of failing to comply with a release order.

  • 25-year-old High Level resident, Jessica Mabel Marie Flett was arrested and had seven charges laid against her;

Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Possession of ammunition while prohibited

Four counts of failing to comply with a release order.

  • 37-year-old, Red Deer resident Dustin Wade Bulldog, who was out on a parole warrant, was arrested and had five charges laid against him;

Three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Two counts of Possession of ammunition while prohibited.

  • 37-year-old Bushe River resident Jason Lee Kidney was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

At this time, Konda-Martel, Flett and Bulldog have been remanded into custody with a court date set for March 25 in High Level.

Kidney was released on conditions.
