Rebels and more locals make NHL Central Scouting midterm rankings

A handful of Red Deer Rebels and players with other ties to central Alberta have made NHL Central Scouting’s midterm rankings ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft.

Ollie Josephson (Red Deer Rebels) – 43rd (2023 preliminary ranking: B prospect)
Caleb Hadland (Brandon Wheat Kings, Sylvan Lake) – 175th (2023 preliminary ranking: C prospect)
Rhys Pederson (Edmonton Oil Kings, Stettler) – 200th (2023 preliminary ranking: W prospect)
Samuel Drancak (Red Deer Rebels) – 221st (2023 preliminary ranking: W prospect)
