Olds RCMP investigates bold theft of bicycles on school property

Mounties in Olds say a stolen truck was used to help steal bicycles in Olds this week.

On Oct. 16, 2023, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Olds RCMP were dispatched to an incident at a local school.

Witnesses reported that a white F350 drove across the grass at the local high school, a male jumped out and proceeded to steal bicycles that were chained up on the bike rack.

Police say their investigation revealed that the truck was stolen out of Red Deer.
