Olds RCMP investigate break and enter at local business

Central Alberta Mounties are looking for a pair of suspects after a business in Olds was broken into and later the suspect vehicle set on fire.

On Oct. 16, 2023, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Olds RCMP were alerted to a break and enter in progress at a local business, located in the 6500 block of 48 Avenue.

According to police, security reported that two male suspects were on site in a black car. RCMP attended and attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, however, it fled the scene. Mounties say nothing was reported missing from the business.

Shortly after, though, RCMP received a report of a vehicle on fire at the College. Police say this was the same vehicle which fled earlier. Suspects then stole another car and fled again, say RCMP.
